The food at XYZ is rustic, or el campo, a tribute to traditional Mexican fare that is produced from regional ingredients. Our recipes have been collected during our 25 years of travel within the Mexican interior. Everything we serve is made on premises except for the bread and tortillas. We do use locally sourced products whenever possible with chiles farmed in Mexico.

We have a full bar, Mexican beer, margaritas, and a small wine list. We also serve a large assortment of non-alcoholic beers and limeades made with fresh lime juice. Our coffee is organically grown in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. It is procured from a cooperative whose members own all levels of production from harvesting to roasting to shipping. The success of this cooperative is a positive step towards reverse migration. Coffee can be purchased online at www.justcoffee.org.

We compost, recycle and use environmentally sound products.

Through volunteer work and gifting, XYZ supports local organizations such as Friends of Acadia, Community Sailing Center, SFOA, Southwest Harbor Beautification, Southwest Harbor Library, Harbor House, Neighborhood House, Island Astronomy Institute, WERU, Island Connections, museums, historical societies and others.

There is no dress code. Hop off your boat (we can pick you up at the dock, or it's a 10-minute walk). Or dress to the nines—wear what is comfortable for you. Due to the small size of our dining room, reservations are strongly encouraged. Our telephone number is 207 244 5221.

Since 1994 we have served more than 95,000 diners.

Thank you for your patronage.
Buen provecho
